Position Title:
Hardware Support / Installation Technican
Description of Duties
- Configure and install servers, workstaions, switches, printers,
etc.
- Assists salesmen in configuration and presentation of solutions.
- Partner with internal and external resources to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate dedication to quality customer service.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of and experience with Macintosh and PC servers and
workstations.
- Knowledge of and experience with connectivity and networking
environment (dial-up access, Ethernet, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience with Macintosh OS and prepress
applications.
- High motivation, and a strong drive and ability to find creative
solutions.
- Experience in providing customer service in helpline environment
or support center.
Skills:
- Certifications are helpful but not required.
- Technical knowledge of and experience with desktop environment,
i.e., Intel PC or Mac mainstreamed hardware and software.
- Demonstrated dedication to quality customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in team environment.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior telephone etiquette and ability to deal effectively
with customers.
